Moving into a new apartment always makes you take stock of how you do things. The fresh, newness makes some of your old stuff look crappy and sad. Plus when you're combining lives like we are you have to find entirely new solutions to old problems. We recently decided we need a different hamper situation for the new apartment. Matt uses an old trashcan. I use a cumbersome black basket. So there's some run for improvement. But, no mesh bags from Duane Reade or oversized pastel plastic baskets. A simple yet somewhat stylish hamper that doesn't take up too much space is what we crave. Is that a crazy request?
