Who's That Lady?

I finally got a haircut two weeks ago. I use the word "finally" because I was overdue for an appointment. I had let things lapse since January and the situation was getting a little snarly. I've been going to Soon Beauty Lab for around six years now and I've always seen the same stylist. She is a total gem and always asks me about my love life. Plus I feel like she looks into my soul and can see what I want my hair to look like without me having to explain things. And she always delivers the goods. If you live in the area and need a stylist, lemmeknow. I highly recommend Jenna. She's also a great colorist but I gave up coloring years ago when I realized I'm not a blonde, I'm never going to be a blonde and my hair grows like kudzu and I show roots within ten minutes. We're all better for it. I have often wondered what it would cost to hire a professional (or even amateur) blow drier so that my hair could regularly look as silky and as awesome as it does after getting it cut. I decided it probably wasn't feasible, unfortunately. So I'll just continue to look forward to my haircuts and will try not to wait eight months next time. I always make sure to have a social outing planned for afterward so that a) someone else can bask in the glory of my freshly shorn locks otherwise it would feel like kind of waste. And yes, as long as we're discussing it, I'll probably continue to take selfies in the salon mirror post haircut because that's just the kind of ridiculous gal I am. And also because my hair never even looks half that good in normal times.

How often do you get your haircut? Do you also have a stylist you're devoted to? On a scale of one to ten how absurd is the below photo montage?
