I Want Candy

Do you know what's awesome? Candy. So, in honor of Valentine's Day being this week, let's talk candy. Now, (sadly) I don't eat a lot of sweets and I raaaaaarely eat candy. If I do it's usually a responsible square of dark chocolate or two. And don't get me wrong dark chocolate is great, really delicious. But what about drugstore candy?! That's the real deal. And the fact that I almost never eat candy does not accurately reflect how I feel about candy. I love it! All those glistening packages stare me down by the register when I check out at Duane Reade just begging me to buy them and take them home. Oh candy, why must your torture me? Here are my top five drugstore candies (in no particular order):

Almond Joy | Reese's PB Cup | Snickers | Pretzel M&Ms | Crunchie

And do you know what while we're on the subject of candy, how about those tasty desserts that are inspired by candies? Let me get this straight, you're saying it's a dessert (awesome) and it tastes like one of my favorite candies (awesomer)? Cue head explosion. Now, here's some examples that someone should make for me to eat.
