When The Flu Strikes

Helllooooo! I trust you all had fantastic Thanksgivings. Of course, that feels like a distant memory now, doesn't it? Well my holiday was great until I came down with the worst flu I've had in years. Seriously, I was bed ridden and running a fever for like five days straight. I was too sick to fly home so I changed my flight. I stayed in Atlanta for an extra FIVE DAYS until I had enough strength back to make the trek back to NYC. And don't go lecturing me about a flu shot either. BECAUSE I GOT ONE AND CLEARLY IT DIDN'T DO JACK SHIZZ. Of course, the silver lining (if you want to see it) is that I got to take advantage of the best bed nurses in the world (my mom and sis) AND my mom has cable so I was able to partake in some extra special tv. I was also lucky that I didn't have to rush back for work since I was off this week. But beware my friends, this flu packs a punch I am just now starrrrting to feel normal and I got it a full week ago. I laid low all weekend because I fear a relapse But I think tomorrow I'll be normal again. I mean, as normal as I usually am. I hope you're healthy and happy. xo

What my week looked like: down comforters and my mom's turkey and bean soup.
