And so begins the season of rosé

It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's rosé season. For the next 3-4 months, if rosé is available to me I will drink it. This I promise you. I prefer the non-sparkiling variety, personally. And I like them light, and clean and minerally (yes, wine can be minerally and I learned that I happen to love minerally tastes during last year's season of rosé). Plus, and it's important not to overlook this fact, it's such a lovely shade of pink. I had a glass or two with a pal last night and as I held my glass I had to point out how perfectly it complemented my outfit's color palette. And that's when I decided a glass of rosé might be my pick for this season's best accessory. So you can imagine my delight when I was invited to an all rosé wine tasting (a.k.a. dreamscape!) last week hosted by Sarah Bryden-Brown of Blogstar. The guest list was insanely awesome (Maggie(!), Gretchen, Meg, Susan, Ashley, Deborah, Victoria, Leslie, Natalie) and I'm convinced I was invited by accident. But accident or not, it was truly a fantastic time. I mean what's not to love about delicious wine and snacks in the back room of Pansanella & Sons (what a fabulous space! it's my new favorite wine store) plus smart, beautiful and inspiring women to chat with. So yeah, sometimes my life ain't too shabby.

And what kind of me would I be if I left without picking up a few bottles? These were my two favorites. I wish you all a very happy and festive Season of Rosé!
