It Takes Two

For no particular reason, I started thinking about the awesomeness of duets. And how some of them have a little bit of romantic cheesiness, which this lady happens to adore. So I decided to take on an incredibly important endeavor in the name of the duet. I decided I needed to determine and present to you my five favorite duets. Exciting times, huh? And let me know what you think. Do you love duets? Did I forget any of your faves? p.s. I dare you to listen to the first one and not sing along. Up Where We Belong - Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes* *youtube video may or may not include moving and majestic animal slide show

Falling Slowly - Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová No cheesiness here. Just lots of weeping.

After All - Peter Cetera & Cher Have I ever told you about my (shameful but completely true) obsession with Peter Cetera? P.s. I don't know why this video is a montage of the movie The Notebook. This song is from the very charming Chances Are, which I loved. Get it right, youtube!

Candy - Iggy Pop & Kate Pierson I had this one on cassingle. That's how I know I am really old.

Leather and Lace - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley Perfection.
