Seven Posts aka A Look Back

It's been almost three years since I started this here blog. And what a three years it has been. As I approach the three year anniversary it's hard not to look back and all the posts I've done. It's been a labor of love and I still feel like I have so much work to do. All of these feelings lined up nicely with the fact that my friend Molly tagged me in her "Seven Links" post (originally started here). You look back at highlight different posts from the past based on seven different categories. So let's take a stroll down memory lane. Won't you join me?

By far my Most Popular post was when I shared steps to help get rid of post alt depression. It was fun times coming up with that one and I was so happy that people liked it.

I felt like my post on the week of happy hours didn't get enough attention. Come on, people! An entire week of delicious libations, that's newsworthy. Still confused at to why the media wasn't alerted.

I was pretty proud of this nifty little spice storage solution I DIY'ed. It even got picked up by the kitchn so that was pretty cool.

It wasn't insanely successful or anything but this silly little post on the pluot got a lot more than love than I expected.

Things don't get too controversial around here. But this post I did on all my favorite fictional high school dreamboats was a lot of fun. And I love it when y'all weigh in! And, like me, you were oddly passionate on this issue.

It's not ridiculously beautiful or anything like that, but this post I put together for Blog It Forward was one of my all time favorites. It does a nice job of visually summing up what I'm all about.

The posts I'm most proud of are the ones where I showcase something pretty that I made. It's a tie between the wedding boards (and here) I designed and the earrings I made that were inspired by an awesome photo that you might recognize it from here. (I made a necklace inspired by a favorite piece of art here). All this tells me is that I need to make more things that are pretty. Because it make me happy.

And that concludes our reflection on the past. Now let's look toward the future. The immediate future. What's on tap for the weekend? I'm wrapping up a freelance gig today so I have a little bit of that hip-hip-hooray-last-day-of-school feeling but the constant gray rain cloud over NYC is making sure to dampen my spirits. But don't worry, I'm sure I'll some fun to get into this weekend. And I order you to do the same. xoxo

p.s. I'm not big on tagging people, it kind of reminds me of chain letters. But, if you are inclined do a Seven Links post of your own, consider yourself tagged.
