The Good Life

I've wrapped up a nice long gig of freelance last week and now I get to reap the rewards of all of those weekends spent working. I have no work scheduled for the next two and a half weeks. I'll be here in NYC this week, a staycation of sorts for this gal. I'm so excited about all the free time I'll have to clean and organize and get stuff done. I'll get some fun stuff in there as well, don't you worry about that. Yesterday, I ran errands, went to the market and did a light cleaning around here. I love being able to go to the market during the day and pick what I'll eat that night. It really makes me unnaturally happy. I picked up stuff so I could make my fave edamame salad (which looks cute in a mason jar. but then again, what doesn't?) Also grabbed some delicious baby heirlooms and arugula for a lovely salad we had with our dinner. Boy oh boy do I love this time off thing. Who knows what tomorrow will bring... A trip to the Gap? Some much needed closet/dresser organization? A craft project? A bike ride? Oh, the excitement.
