Thank You, Conan

Last night’s finale was pitch perfect. Conan was hilarious and heart-felt and amazing. His goodbye speech had me more than a little choked up (see it all here) but I particularly responded to this section. I found it incredibly inspiring and it really spoke to me: I’m way too cynical and Conan is right, it doesn’t lead anywhere. See you soon, Coco.

The whole show was great, but his speech was amazing.
I look forward to seeing what he does next, but I’ll miss him the next few months.

Truly an amazing message and something the young people of today should really take to heart. I’m going to reblog this if you don’t mind…

God, I love that quote so much and I love that red-headed comedian so much. His words totally resonated with me and I am taking them with me wherever I go! Thanks for this tribute to a great man.

I adored his speech. His ‘highlights’ montage during his monologue made me tear up too… it was like watching those ‘actors we lost’ things they show at the Oscars. It’s definitely the end of an era and I can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve.
