Posted on | January 28, 2010 | 58 Comments
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a giveaway around these here parts. So I’m back in effect with a good one for your eyes and your hearts. Diana is the talented lady behind city light photography. I was smitten the minute I stumbled onto her shop, the photos are lovely! So aren’t you the lucky ones? Diana has graciously offered up ANY (unframed) print to one lucky Old Sweet Song reader. All you have to do is check out her shop and leave a comment about your favorite item. I’ll select a winner in a week’s time. Good luck, friends. And a big thanks to Diana (yes, she also writes a charming blog)!

Ooh, how lovely. I think that “Principles of Literary” just wins out over “Ring Ring” for me!
January 28th, 2010 @ 10:56 am
Ooh, tough choices! I have it narrowed down to ‘You Are My Everything’ and ‘Kick Off Your Shoes.’
I love her style!
January 28th, 2010 @ 10:57 am
Her photos are so dreamy! I love the Scrabble board that spells out ‘Nerd’!
January 28th, 2010 @ 11:12 am
My favorite is “I’ve Waited My Whole Life For You”. I love how she captures a moment when you find graffiti on the ground, and feel like it was put there just for you.
January 28th, 2010 @ 11:13 am
Gosh I love her work! It would be hard to choose a favorite but I am admiring the Lingerie Polaroid (so sweet) and the Red Sky 3mm film shots!
January 28th, 2010 @ 11:16 am
I too had to narrow down:)…i love red sky 35mm or bridge. gorgeous work! Thank you for sharing your talents!
January 28th, 2010 @ 11:58 am
i really like “kick your shoes off” but i don’t know if i like the vibrant or muted better! displaying them together would be nice, too.
January 28th, 2010 @ 12:14 pm
I love the fairgrounds prints, but I *really* love the telephones. Her photography is so ptetty, such a cool vintage vibe. Thanks for the giveaway!
January 28th, 2010 @ 12:17 pm
I adore ‘Ring Ring’, it’s fantastic!
January 28th, 2010 @ 2:16 pm
How lovely. I really like the “Ring Ring” postcards.
January 28th, 2010 @ 2:18 pm
It’s always so hard to decide. I chose You Spin Me.
January 28th, 2010 @ 2:26 pm
I definitely love Ferris Wheel. It reminds me of when the fair would come to town over labor day weekend.
January 28th, 2010 @ 2:34 pm
I love Diana and her photos! So hard to pick… I really love everything, and I’m a sucker for anything involving books (her “For Bibliophiles” section is awesome). But… for a print, I’d probably either go for the vintage telephones or for the embroidery print.
Thanks for a lovely giveaway!

January 28th, 2010 @ 7:51 pm
LOVE Writer’s Desk!
January 28th, 2010 @ 7:57 pm
I love the Helmut Lang and Marc Jacobs prints! Mostly because they obviously have the “high fashion” element, but something about the lighting and angles brings the lux down a notch.
January 28th, 2010 @ 8:08 pm
I’ve Waited My Whole Life for You is so sweet! Love it.
January 28th, 2010 @ 9:19 pm

January 29th, 2010 @ 11:20 am
Wow, beautiful photographs! So many great ones to chose from but I will have to go with “take a seat”
January 29th, 2010 @ 12:16 pm
These are great photographs and I love that so many of them are unusual. I would be torn between Pages Ready for Decorating and the Disney Concert Hall one with the multiple images. I do like her use of typewriters and old rotary phones and the photos of type written messages are lovely.
January 29th, 2010 @ 6:07 pm
Oh. My. Gosh. Her photography is fabulous! I’ve narrowed it down to my two favorites: “You Spin Me,” because the flying swing ride is my absolute favorite and I find any excuse to ride it at the fair, and “Kick Your Shoes Off,” because I have a soft spot in my heart for all shoes, but especially canvas wedges.
January 29th, 2010 @ 6:14 pm
“Kick Off Your Shoes”
I have these shoes! They’re not nearly as bright any longer because I like to wear them dancing.
January 29th, 2010 @ 6:41 pm

January 29th, 2010 @ 11:56 pm

Love the Lingerie polaroid print! Diana is a star!
January 30th, 2010 @ 9:40 pm
Fabulous giveaway! So difficult to pick a favorite, as Diana’s photography is all so beautiful. But I’d have to choose “Soaring” because it brings me that joyful kid-again feeling or “Emma’s” (Truck Stop) because it really makes me want to drive Route 66 and find out what the Brian Burger is.
January 31st, 2010 @ 9:43 am
You are my everything.
January 31st, 2010 @ 2:54 pm
