Yay, it’s been awhile since I’ve done a good ol’ fashioned giveaway. And what better time than the holidays to win a beautiful piece of art to give to a loved one or what the heck, keep it for yourself. Tali Schiffer is not only a very loyal reader of Old Sweet Song but she is also a ridiculously talented photographer. She has an eye for creating beautiful compositions using an amazingly wide variety of subjects. She even finds time to write Imperfectly Perfect, her lovely blog. So, in the spirit of the holidays, Tali has generously offered up ANY 8×10 or 8×8 print from her shop. That’s right, you get your pick of the lovely litter. So check out all the exquisite offerings in her shop and comment back here with which of her gorgeous prints you would pick should you win.

Amy, I love the window frame in Tel-Aviv. You know how I love windows (and doors). Is it the voyeur in me? Or the claustrophobia? Are they a way in, or a way out?

good morning amy, i sure have enjoyed looking at tali’s work this morning. she’s a real talent! i would choose the fondue shot. vivid color+friends+chocolate= perfection!

Agreed – great photography, and a great giveaway! I love the 8×8 leaf print and also the polaroid composite in pink (I know this one isn’t an 8×8 or 8×10, but what a great way to look at that image differently!).

Oh, such a hard decision to make, they are all so lovely. Guess I’d choose “Shimmer in the Sun” as it reminds me of the West Indies with the Pride of Barbados plants and their larger cousins the giant, flamboyant Poinciana trees.

I would choose “Orange Shells of Fruit.” I absolutely love anything citrusy and it would look so at home in my kitchen!

i am a fan of tali’s work already but if i could choose a winner it would be the boy in the window & the window frame is such a close second. i have a thing for windows & doors! that’s how i feel about life – you’re either looking in or out & sometimes catching a meaningful image! the boy is so intriguing! thanks to tali for offering this generous gift & good luck to the winner (i’d love it to be me) but no loss as she pointed me in the direction of your pretty cool blog!

Beautiful photography. I enjoyed looking at all of the pictures. My favorites were Shimmer in the Sun – great color, Swatch because I always love lots of color and like so many other people, the View. Here is hoping I will be lucky enough to have to pick one of my favorites.

Definitely “Sunset At the Park” – just gorgeous – makes me yearn to be there…
“Little Red Flowers” is beautiful too – lovely composition….and who doesn’t love little red flowers???
