Hair Successories

Last night I took Deb‘s Vintage Flower Corsage class. It was a good way to spend a Wednesday night. Always a delight to hang out with the real Deb in real life, not just via the blog-y interwebs. And, as you may know, I love acquiring new crafting skills for my arsenal. We made two types of fabric flowers and worked on attaching them to various wearable implements. The flowers were super easy and fun and I think the possibilities are endless (so expect to see some more of them here). Also side note, I want to live in Deb’s studio; it was filled with fabrics, ribbons, beads and other fun bits. I was going to tear into it all and stay all night having a wine induced crafting frenzy, but I thought that might have been a little weird. Maybe next time? Here’s what we made, and a (blurry) self-portrait style close up of my masterpiece.
