Moving Announcement

I love the idea of sending out an adorable we’ve moved/change of addresses in the mail. You know, the actual mail. Etsy has tons of cute ones too! But I am a person who communicates via email and I just didn’t have the time/energy to pull something like that off. It’s hard enough to send out New Years cards and I am usually recovering from that process for the rest of the year. But I still wanted to announce our move, so I whipped up a wee jpg to attach to an email I sent to our family and friends. Here it is! I know it’s not the real thing, but it was still made with love.
p.s. I had to censor out the address so all the internet crazies don’t come and get me.

You are so crazily creative—I just love this!
The Martha side of me wants to do up some fancy pants letterpress announcements and send them off with beautiful stamps.
And the misanthropic/antisocial side of me is secretly happy that most friends and relatives don’t know/care that we’ve moved and wants it to stay that way.
It’s unclear which side will win…
