Money to Burn

Lots of folks are on spending hiatus’ these days (like the lovely Joslyn from yesterdays Blogger Crush)). I’m not officially on one, but I applaud their efforts and I have been making cuts when appropriate and not shopping at my normal levels. I did however just “purchase” a $100 gift card to Williams-Sonoma with my debit card rewards. It’s not really money, so it’s like finding $100 on the street! In front of Williams-Sonoma! I’ve mentioned my need for a new tea kettle, and this is the perfect opportunity to buy a Le Creuset beauty. They are so very purrrdy, and what a nice pop of color on the stove. Now, what color should I get?

That’s so hard. I love them all. But I think if I found 100 bucks on the street outside of Williams Sonoma, I would personally go with dijon.

I heart the dijon also…
BUT,
if you will recall I recently procured a tall pepper mill (via Anthro) in a similar shade of yummy yellow. I think this might take yellow out of the running. I want a hodge podge of all different pops of color.

lemongrass all the way! i also like the flame one but that might not go well with the yellow successories.
buy this stuff now, it seems like williams sonoma might not make it through the credit crisis. which is a shame because i wanted to register there should i ever get married.

Oooh goodness. What a choice, I looked at them a while and pondered the magic of teapots for a little more of a while, and thought to myself that really, the red teapot is so classic, so bold and warm and deliciously symbolic…
That’s the one I’d go for.

ooo! nice! I got one klast year for my bday! the lemongrass one…i’m a big fan…and i also got the oval cassoulet dish in lemongrass…H.O.T! do it! what’s your favorite color? go with your gut lil lady!
