A Colorful and Retro Kitchen

I’m just back from a lovely brunch and shopping venture. I know I shouldn’t be shopping but the evil empire Anthropologie called to me, as usual. I nabbed this adoable bright yellow pepper mill (it was on sale!). And that got me thinking; what I really want is a simple, mostly white kitchen with lots of fun retro accessories that provide bright pops of color. Here’s what I’d like for my dream kitchen…
Yellow Spice Market Mill from Anthropolgie $12.95 (sale!)
Mighty OJ juicer from Crate and Barrel $39.95 (sale!)
Asarina Dinnerware from Anthropologie $3.95-$7.95
Twice as Nice Double Timer from Uncommon Goods $18
Birds in Tree Cheese Tray from Fishs Eddy $6.38 (sale!)
Fiesta Deep Dish Pie Baker from Macy’s $25
And, when I win the lotto, Kitchen Aid Martha Stewart Blue Collection Mixer from Macy’s $400 (NOT on sale)

In my dream kitchen, it’s monochromatic with splashes of solid color. I guess we need two of them?

Maybe not. What color monochromatic?
