It’s a small world

Recently, I was drooling over a wedding on the lovely OnceWed. It was kind of weird, because it was soooo me, right down to the location (Serenbe, GA, which I have looked into when planning my pretend wedding). I kept reading and learned that the Beautiful Bride was also an Art Director in advertising (like me!) who had started a side company called Miss Pickles Press. I checked out her stuff and fell madly in love. It was so similar to what I would want to do if I started a company like that, lots of vintage type and bold, bright colors. And a quirky sense of humor too boot. Whoever this woman was, I figured she was pretty much my soul mate.
And then I realized I knew her!
She had been an instructor at The Creative Circus (where I went to ad school) and she had been in one of my critiques where she had been super cool and nice and gave awesome feedback. And she even gave me props for the shirt I was wearing.
So I emailed her and we have connected. What fun! She is super talented and really sweet (she didn’t even freak out when she got my stalker-ish email). I am now a huge fan of her blog.
Sometimes I love how tiny this world is!
